A sturdy well made solenoid.
This solenoid was just what I wanted to provide small forces in a project I was working on. My power supply was 12v and the required stroke about 8mm so the solenoid was ideal. The tapped holes in its base allowed for easy fitting to an aluminium base plate and it always worked as expected. The plunger is not captive in the body and care is needed when carrying the solenoid around so as to not have the plunger fall out.
