I built the engine in my 06 STI about 1000miles ago using this kit Std bore and the oem subaru forged nitrated crankshaft. I used the king racing rod and main bearings. With the 12mm oil pump. This has been holding 510hp dyno proven, daily driven for the last 500 miles without fail at 30lbs boost. just ran a compression and leak down check all cylinders are perfectly even. They seem to be holding better than advertised my air filter ratios at 30lbs boost ride at 11.6 to 12.1 being not a forged piston I don’t run too lean. but they probably have the potential to make more power. Great kit for anyone rebuilding an EJ257 engine.

Rod and piston kit
Got the Nippon rod and piston kit. Was in good shape and as advertised. Only downfall was item required a signature. Since I wasn’t home when USPS tried to deliver, I had to go to the post office to pick up.
