IF you are yearning for the Panda look, then this is it. Very nice watch from the Seiko sub-brand, Orient. It has the 'Daytona' look, a little vintage but with up to date solar technology. I usually wear a mechanical watch bit wanted something that would be ready to go with no winding. The bracelet is fine but I wanted a more traditional look so its on a nice leather rally. The face is slightly off white which does not come over in the pics, but this is fine as it looks great. Definitely an unusual watch, here in the UK very few people new of Orient so it is a nice talking point and you will be the only person in the place with one .

Very happy with this watch. Been looking at it for awhile. It’s pricey for a solar quartz, but looks great and chrono is amazing, even had lap timer built in. Bracelet is not that great, but it’s a strap monster and looks great on a rally leather strap.

Love the design and built-quality. I was not expecting to fall in love with it so soon, but it simply blew me away. The quality for this price is incredible, and the design is flawless. The strap, though I had my doubts, is actually much better than expected. Keeps time to the second, but at first I didn't let it charge enough and it stopped after a couple of days. Now it's running continuously without stopping, and the chronograph is smoother than some Swiss quartz watches. Overall, I'm very impressed, and pleased with it.

It came early. I was happy with that. The band was a little flimsy. I switched it to a rally leather strap to look more sporty. I thought all the sub dials were the same size like the 70s style but the one at 6 o'clock is smaller. That was my mistake. Still a great value. TIME WILL TELL !

However the bracelet seems a good quality, the appearance is sadly boring, so the watch deserves a much nicer custom strap than the factory one. I am also missing the sapphire crystal but I accepted that there need to be a certain kind of price cut on the watch in this price point. The watch itself is an eye-cathing, well-made japanese light charge quartz, the movement is made by Seiko. Be aware that this is a discontinued Japanese Domestic Market modell. So if you want a quite unique panda-watch this one could be a great choise.

Great looking watch. Had been considering this watch for quite some time. Wanted a panda chronograph at a reasonable price. Have a few Orient watches already and know the quality they offer. Finishing and details on the watch are great. Would be 5 stars except for the bracelet which is horrible but knew this already and always planned to change it anyway. Very happy with it.

I purchased this model of watch earlier this year from ebay after discovering this solar powered watch which I had no idea that Orient manufactured. Since purchasing it I have had plenty of compliments on it and asking where I purchased it from. I have to say I was very pleased with the watch when it arrived and wear it often. I went on to purchase another Orient Neo 70's solar watch identical to this but with a green dial with gold indices and that is even better than the white version in my opinion. The bracelet is good quality and has a two button deployment clasp and has the Orient logo stamped on the clasp. The crown is also signed which adds to the quality of this watch and it has crystal glass and is water resistant to 100m. A really nice watch and well recommended for anyone wishing to buy a solar chronograph at a good price.Read full review

A beautiful watch that is a strap monster. The bracelet leaves something to be desired, but it's to be expected at this price and simply switching it out for a leather strap makes it look amazing. The dial, despite being 42 mm, isn't too big even for smaller wrists - mine are just 6.5 inches.

This watch punches well above it's weight class as one of the nicest looking "panda's" out there. Once i switched out the bracelet for a leather rally strap I can't take my eyes off it. One of my favourites in my collection for sure!

Very good looking watch, I pair it with a carbon fiber strap and it looks amazing, if you looking for a panda chronograph, you might like this one from Orient.
