It's easier than you think to do it yourself
A quote of $900+ to get my garage door opener repaired when it went haywire, opening and closing by itself made me gasp. The door opener still worked manually by the switch as long as I got up the ladder and turned the power off/on after it was opened or closed. I took a punt and bought this one online. Most remote operated garage doors are more or less the same configuration as I found out and replacing the track and motor was easy once I decided to do it. Within an hour or so I had a brand new opener, track and chain working like a dream and the dread of insecurity was now gone. I highly recommend this product if your remote garage door is on its way out. Seldom are they lubricated or the chain tensioned so they have a definite working life. Dominator replacement
Found this a quieter unit than the Dominator. Good instructions except the resetting of door limit instructions called for a press of the "close" button which is not marked as such but is the "-" button as I discovered through trial and error.
