Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Reciprocating Saws
Tried this Saw out in the Garden fitted with a 9" wood cutting blade. Cuts large shrub branches easily. It's important to keep the base plate against the branch to stop vibration of the branch which might otherwise bend the blade. Of course that applies to any brand of Recipro-saw. I didn't cut anything larger than 50mm. but it clearly would be capable of 4" branches. Has a bit of weight to it but this is to be expected with a robust & well built Tool. I'm Happy !

Makita make a good product for a reasonable price. had a 18 volt battery drill for two years and the batteries are good quality last a long time and hold their charge for months. Have only used the reciprocating saw for an afternoon, pruning trees and im impressed with how easy it is and the blade attachment is great not having to use screws to attach them. I hope to still be using this for another ten years as long as they are still selling the batteries.

I’ve had a corded recipo saw for a few years for mainly pruning trees around the house, and it was heavy and the cord kept getting in the way. This Makita recipo saw is just as powerful, lightweight, good quality and the blade change mechanism is easy to use. Battery life is good too.
