Description SureFlap Microchip Cat Door Connect is a smarter access point to your home for your cats. This door ensures that strays and other animals can't enter your home, with an inbuilt sensor reacting to microchips and collar tags, allowing entry to designated animals. By connecting with the Hub (sold separately) which links the Cat Door Connect to the Sure Petcare app, you can remotely lock or unlock the cat door anytime anywhere, receive notifications when your cat enters and leaves your home, and monitor long-term activity and notice changes in your cat’s behaviour. Warnings: You will need the SureFlap Hub (sold separately) to connect the Cat Door Connect to your Sure Petcare App.

Great door but less functional without Hub.
Excellent door, easy to install. The cats took a while to get used to using it. The one problem I have with it is that the curfew mode, which I primarily bought it for, is only available when you purchase the hub. With the similar model descriptions of the various SureFlap doors, I got confused and did not realise this was the case. Now I have to purchase the hub if I want the curfew function.

Multiple Cat Home Game Changer
This is the third surepet dual scan connect catflap's in our house and intend to grow that number. We use the catflap's to control house region access on internal doors as well as allow scheduled exits from the house for 1 of the cats only. Having the return option is fantastic for when the other cat gets out by mistake, however can't exit again as that door is set to inside only for the indoor cat. Also fantastic for trapping smart cats that catch on when you need to take them to the vets. We just change the settings on the app for that particular cat to no longer be able to exit the laundry, so when it goes in for food/drink/cat tray, it can't get back out to hide in the rest of the house. Also quite helpful in scheduling to stop cat access in the morning after they go to the toilet. After 0500 it locks them from coming back down to the bedrooms which stops them scratching and meowing at 0530 for their breakfast. But allows them access to the rest of that end throughout the rest of the day and night. Very happy with the surepet range of quality products and will be adding a few more doors and surefeeder connects in the near future. Cons; Not many, really just the price as it is an expensive catflap but control features outweigh that issue for us. Another small gripe would be lack of Google Home integration, which would be helpful and expedient for us at times. Also, when using for internal and external access control, it would be nice to be able to select the doors as internal and external. Then you could assign cats as inside or outside cats in a blanket rule. Then assign rooms and provide which rooms and schedules each cat can access them.Read full review

Great product, particularly if one lives in a cat curfew area. Easy to install and Instruction manual well written. Fortunately we purchased the Door and Hub value pack. It is not clear from the advertising how the door can operate without the hub. A bit fiddly to set up and link to internet. Instructions could be clearer on this aspect. The section that says that the manual switch overrides the electronic catches is not clear as it is not possible to test this. without the cat!! Thus ain problem is that you cannot test system without shoving cat's head into the tunnel to make sure that the catches are working properly. An "override" function would be good Ie. capacity to inactivate electronic catches to allow free entry/exit of cat or just use manual override as required like standard cat flaps. Apart from these minor glitches, product is excellent.Read full review

Great product but if you have a 4kg+ cat get the pet door instead.
Great product BUT too small for my fat cats - sent back and got pet door instead. Elected to stay with this company was please with quality of product only issue was too small for my cats.

Simple to use, good quality product.
This catdoor has been a life changer for our house. No more opening and closing the door for the cat that is allowed everywhere or worrying about the other cat getting into places he should not be in. I have it in a bedroom door, i fitted it myself in about 2 minutes as there was an existing hole there already. It took about 1 minute to register both cats microchips. We are very happy. I did not purchase the hub and don't miss it at this stage.
