The term 'super group' has often been thrown around on the basis that a few musicians from different bands got together and did a few gigs and maybe put out an album, regardless whether the musicianship of the individuals concerned warranted the term 'super group'. The term 'super group' is very much warranted in the case of Blind Faith and their eponymously titled and only album. Blind Faith brought together ace guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer's drummer Ginger Baker (both previously in Cream), multi instrumentalist Steve Winwood (previously in Spence Davis Group and Traffic), and multi instrumentalist Ric Grech (previously in Family). At the time of its release, the album Blind Faith was mixed with some mixed reviews, with some critics perhaps expecting more, but over time views have changed and the album is highly regarded, certainly by any fan of any or all of the musicians involved. The cover was controversial in its day, and in some countries was issued with an alternative cover. A mixture of psych, progressive, blues, this album belongs in any music collection by any serious collector. It also represents an integral part of the career journey undertaken by the individual musicians involved. Read full review

What a great album when you have very talented individuals from different great rock bands combining to produce a very individual sounding, very likeable rock album. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
