The Linksys E8452 300 Mbps 4 Port 1000 Mbps Wireless Router is a high-performance networking device designed for home or office use. With a maximum LAN data rate of 1000 Mbps and a maximum wireless data rate of 300 Mbps, this router offers fast and reliable connectivity for gaming, streaming, and other bandwidth-intensive activities. The router features four LAN ports for wired connections, dual-band technology for seamless wireless connections, and a sleek black design. It is an ideal choice for those looking for a versatile and efficient wireless router for their networking needs.
Upgraded from Linksys AX1800s to these. Got two new Arena Pro 6es, sealed in the package, for 39% less than the price of just one new one directly from the manufacturer. The coverage is impressive and the mesh technology allows the routers' access point features to work seamlessly. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the parental controls are strongly lacking. Administrators can only block 8 websites in total rather than unlimited websites and categories. Also, the sites must be added to each device manually which is an unnecessary pain. If the parental controls were fixed and improved, then these would have a 5-star rating rather than a 4-star rating.
Inexpensive way to upgrade to a mesh Wi-Fi 6 network
Needed to upgrade my Wi-Fi at home; had two older units that covered different parts of the house and devices were constantly switching between the two units. This set of Wi-Fi 6 mesh routers provide a strong signal anywhere in the house and speed testing confirms that I can max out the Fios connection at home. Very happy with this upgrade. The only negative was that mesh setup and configuration wasn't easy and I did have to contact Linksys support multiple times to get the setup working properly.
As I am not very tech savvy, I was having a difficult time getting these set up. I made a call to Linksys support and with their generous help we were able to git 'er done! With my old router, my speed was only 92 Megabits per second. Now I'm cranking at 360+ Megabits/sec!
