Efficient and easy to operate
The heater/cooler is lightweight and efficient on the heating cycle, I have not used the cooling yet. Dyson products are reliable and good quality but expensive, so, if you can get a bargain price, go for it! Not sure what happens if you lose the remote control? If you want quiet fan, DO NOT buy this one
I wanted to get a quality branded fan that is quiet and heard good things about this particular model. Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed , the fan even at lower speed eg no 3 (out of 10) is still quite loud so for a light sleeper, its not great. At level 5 or above, it gets VERY loud and I would not enjoy having it in the family area for example even during the day and usual noises around eg TV ... its just way too loud. An over engineered product with about the same airflow as a cheap $15 fan.
As the title says. It's just a fan... No better than a cheap $15 fan. It just look nicer and doesn't have air blades. Extra feature I can say is it can blow hot air which I haven't tried yet. This is my biggest pleasure guilt.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not quite what I was expecting
This heater is awesome looking and fits in with any decor. It is lightweight and stylish. It is not hugely noisy but when at full speed you do need to turn up the television. As for heating, well, it is not quite as good as I thought it would be - BUT, I'm not sure if my expectations were just too high. Previously having a gas heater I was probably expecting this heater to do the same but it doesn't, so from that point of view I'm a little disappointed. In a smaller room it does an ample job. I will be interested in the affect on my next electricity bill as it is meant to be quite economical to run. I think it might be better suited to smaller, enclosed rooms where the room I have it in is maybe a little large and open plan. Is it worth the price?? Good question. Good but pricey
The Dyson AM09 is a good little unit. Pushes the air out with a decent amount of force while still being nice and quiet. I haven't yet used the heating function extensively but it worked fine when i tested it. My only issues with it are the high price and the fact that it is a little short - which means you need to put a little bookcase or something under it to give it height.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
