  • Big change from her other works

I read The Other Boleyn Girl and then proceeded to read every P. Gregory novel I could get my hands on. Each one that centered on historical characters was beautiful. Well written and delightful to read. This book was all about incestuous lovers. I couldn't relate to the characters. Worse I couldn't even care about the characters. It became hard to read...so much so that after reading the first couple of chapters of the second book I am putting it down. Half price here I come.

  • Not worth over 600 pages

Storyline is boring; I usually like Philippa Gregory novels but this one is a miss.
