  • Excellent graphics card.

This graphics card is simply stunning. It freaked me out a little at first when the fans were not running. Then I found it has a built in temp threshold before it kicks cooling on. Once the software is installed you get great control over most of the cards aspects. The fan control is also very handy for keeping noise down and extending the life of the fans themselves. In my experiences so far the card doesn't have to work hard enough to create a heat issue. I run everything on max settings at 1080p while recording live play at native resolution without noticing a performance hit. The only concern I have is the size. It is huge and heavy, kind of sags a little on the far outer edge. It is a bit power hungry when pushed, but when idle or just running the desktop it just sips on it. Not recommended for coin mining, too expensive for the output.

  • Decent for the price

If you want a decent 2020 gpu that isnt great but will play most titles at medium/high settings 1080p then this will fit the role. However I would suggest saving up and getting a gtx 1660 super if you can otherwise the rx 480 8gb especially this version is great. It's still a great budget option for 2020 after testing games like doom eternal at medium 1080p, RE3 Remake at high 1080p, and even BF5 and Battlefront 2 EA at high 1080p. Overall for about 150 for the strix version I paid I'm satisfied. And as for the other models such as the Red Devil version for 140 I've seen on here I would say go for it unless you want a small but not horrible upgrade to the rx 580 4gb or 8gb as both the rx 480 and 580 are great budget gaming options.

  • Biggest graphics card I've ever used!

I have a monitor with the AMD freesync feature, so I wanted to switch from a good Nvidia card (970) to this good AMD card. It is not what I'd call a big upgrade but I did it more for the compatibility with my monitor. When I unwrapped it I was amazed at how huge it is! I have a NZXT H440 Mid-Tower Case and surprisingly I had to remove one of the HD trays to fit the extraordinary length of this card in there! Once installed I haven't noticed it at all, which is a good thing. I think it is supposed to have the option to change the color and effects of the LEDs but I haven't bothered with that yet. Performance wize, you can find in-depth comparisons all over the web but I will just say that all of the games I already had installed play just fine on max settings Skyrim: Enhanced Edition at QHD resolution looks and runs fantastic. All good cards are way over-priced right now due to data mining use, so if you are simply a gamer like me you will have to pay more than just a year or so ago. I figured that the data mining use of graphics cards will likely increase for the foreseeable future so when I found this deal on eBay I jumped on it. Not a great price (maybe 50.00 more than for the same card new a year ago), but better than most are going for.

  • Great Upgrade for Older Systems

Purchased used and paired w/ a i5 4670K. 1080p Firestrike score: 10800. AAA games will run 1080p on Ultra Settings well over 60fps ; 1440p Med - High settings 50 - 60fps. Great video card to upgrade older LGA1150 systems w/o CPU bottleneck.

  • Great value, good performance

Great price and is actually running at higher clocks out of the box than they are rated at. Only complaint is, the lights at one end dont work. But this is only minor.

  • Amazing value for the money

First off this card is beautiful I have two rx 570red devil's and this 480 makes, my 3rd Red Devil but the color scheme and hints of rgb is awesome. And let's not forget it's a rog Red devil with 8gb of vram and factory oc out of the box. 😍 Happy with my purchase and thank you Hitex will be buying again soon.

  • This is a baller graphics card .

you wanna run 2k ultra every setting this is the card u wanna run 1080p ultra in gta v u got 60fps plus. Do you play wow runescape league of legends? You will crank out the fps. They say it isnt comparable to a 1070ti oc'ed. But it gets damn near close to a 1070 by nvidia. Only dislike is asus tweak2 for overclocking is not good. GREAT CARD will be purchasing 6 of these for crypto-mining ethereum.

  • A bang for your buck

As video cards evolve, the RX 480 remains a great 1080p performer. Now in a better price for the performance it can offer.

  • Solid GPU even in 2020

Paired with a Ryzen 3600 and able to perform decently well in 1440p in Doom (2016), Resident Evil 2 Remake, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Have no doubt this thing would be able to push high settings in a lot of titles at 1080p.
