A welcome upgrade to a classic...
Here are the same famous headphones offered by Audio Technica, but with an added bluetooth built-in feature with controls. I've listened to many bluetooth headphones over the years and these sound amazing compared to previous ones I've used. You will get slightly clearer sound if you opt connecting an aux cable, but over bluetooth the sound quality is still superb. Great headphones overall
I bought these to upgrade from my Marshall headphones which have smaller cans and are not studio monitor style like these are. These A.T's sound great. I use these to help me drown out the sounds on and of the subway on my daily commutes and they help immensely. Because they cup the ears and sit around them, they seal off a lot of the surrounding noise. Music comes in nice and clear without having to turn up loud. The bluetooth connects instantly. They are a bit on the big n bulky side compared to the Marshall's and much heavier. The design could be much sleeker all around including the control buttons design. The cushioning and padding is very plush though after a couple hours you do start feeling the squeeze from the ear pads. Pad upgrades could relieve that. Great sound
The headphones are a definite upgrade to lesser expensive models I have owned in the past. Music sounds more alive and subtle differences can be heard. They pair up easily with my iPhone 7, but they are limited with volume by the phone. Sound isolation is quite good for non noise canceling headphones. I have paired them to my home theater receiver as well, with good results. Overall a great purchase for the discounted price. These headphones are superior to any others that I've owned. They are light but solid and extremely comfortable. Like that I can use them when flying with the included 3.5mm cord for movie and music audio on the plane. Pairing the Bluetooth is simple. From M50x to M50xBT
I've owned the Audio Technica m50x's for 5 years. They were the best headphones I've used in terms of sound quality being my top priority. As the the old earpads wore out I kept an eye on an upgrade. The m50xBT was an excellent choice for an upgrade. The sound quality reminds punchy & well balanced, like a club on your ears & the freedom of not depending on wires are excellent. The battery life is 10/10, & it's wonderful to have the freedom of connectivity. The only downside is the microphone on these headphones when using the Google assistant, it's barely functional unless you speak loudly, but that's probably from the mic placement.
