Engel Superior quality trustworthy reliable & practical design
Comparing the MT-V45F 40L to our 1997 Engel 39L, efficiency seems the only improvement, the reinforcement bars added to the basket catch on the plastic/screws holding the evaporator in place making it difficult to remove, the lid is now permanently fixed and no longer easily unclipped/ removable. The same height basket from the 39L won’t fit in the MT 40L length or width questioning its internal size? And the lead comes with a cigarette lighter plug only, known in the 4x4 industry is the worst plug as it vibrate out of its socket. Unlike the Waeco 40L CFX in our camper, having the compressor external and not encroaching into the internal space inside the fridge allows a supermarket cool bag to be dropped straight in to the basket, this also helps with vehicle clearance as the fridge slide doesn’t need to slide out as far to open the lid, there is now an LED light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
