The movie follows the story of Jerry Fletcher (Mel Gibson), a taxi driver who believes in numerous conspiracy theories, and Alice Sutton (Julia Roberts), a Justice Department lawyer, who he shares his theories with. Their lives become intertwined when Jerry witnesses a murder and is forced to go on the run because he knows too much. The movie is rated M, has a run time of 130 minutes and is in the PAL format.
