  • 07' FJ Cruiser, paired with 5160's (ext. reservoir), lifted it by almost 3", great value

I paired these with the 5160 external reservoir rear shocks. It's pretty awesome. Lifted the truck just about 3" and handles much better than before (I have new 5100's up front, +3' leveling puck, +middle setting on shock). I took the FJ off some 3' jumps and it gobbles it right up. Was able to run through the desert/badlands in C. Oregon at around 75 mph. It's the most affordable Baja style setup you can get. It's not full on crazy, but for off the shelf ($475 total for shocks + springs) it doesn't get better than this.

  • 1.5-1.75 Inch Lift on 2007 FJ Cruiser with Better Heavy Load Application

This will definitely lift your stock vehicle by 1.5 inches--maybe a little bit more. These are much heavier springs compared to stock. For example, carrying over 800 pounds in the back of my FJ, there was almost no noticeable drop in the suspension. With stock springs, the rear would droop significantly with 500-600 pounds. Cornering at speed is noticeably worse than stock, which makes sense since the body is higher. You can add these without extended brake lines. Any springs that add more than 1.5 inches of lift, and you'd probably want extended brake lines. Also, you might not be able to get taller springs in place without snapping your lines. If you need a small lift for off-roading/overlanding, these will give you a decent amount of extra clearance while performing well under load. If you don't carry heavy loads and just want new springs for aesthetics, there are probably better choices--like not changing the stock suspension.
