It is "direct fit", well made, great design
My choices were a cat back from Mopar Performance or this Magnaflow. I tried to do research on this before purchase but found only the video on the Magnaflow website and another on youtube that was only a little helpful. I figured that Magnaflow has a great reputation and was 1/3rd the price of the Mopar so I bought it. The Magnaflow people did their homework for sure, the pipes and hangers are perfect. OK, the sound.....loud but not obnoxious. Nice rumble, not harsh like an old glasspack. Cold start will probably get your neighbor's attention. There is a little drone at highway speeds but not bad, turn up the stereo if it bothers you. Installation. It took almost 2 hours, most of that was getting the old muffler off. I do not have a lift and prefer not to work under jackstands, I did the whole job in the garage without jacking. No issues. I soaked the clamp nuts and pipe ends with PB Blaster and let it sit for awhile. You need a 15mm deep socket, I suggest 1/2" drive. I used my 3/8 drive and had to use a cheater pipe to break the clamp nuts free. Did not break the ratchet though. Getting the tailpipes off was tough, the driver's side came loose, passenger's side did not. I ended up using a deadblow hammer to get that tailpipe moving. Also used the deadblow to break the muffler loose. The OEM muffler is HUGE but weighs very little, no big deal when it came down. Magnaflow fits great but keep an eye on your tailpipe tips. I suggest a helper at the back of the truck assisting with alignment BEFORE you tighten any clamps. Done!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

So I read the reviews and was like hmmm, idk if I should get this. I really don’t want super loud off-road typical exhaust. I got to in. Bolted right up. Perfect for getting that sound that is a little more aggressive then stock at cruising speed. When you get down on it it will open up but still a very clean sounding set up.
