Height quality nicely built
This case is very nice. I Purchased it for my gen 7 after my stock plastic gears died. I installed the redcat brand steel gears and re-used my original bearings. Everything fit perfect with no grinding or binding like other reviews stated. I’m very happy with this purchase and now my trans is solid. Make sure the bearings are seated all the way into where they go. They are a much tighter fit than the plastic case.

Still Not a Good Fit!
DO NOT purchase this unless you want to do your own machine work or LOTS of grinding!! There's no relief cut for the center transmission gear so when you assemble it it will drag and create binding!!!

Not a good fit
Had to grind material away to fit metal gears. Can't tighten screws to tight because it will bind the gears up. Now there's a clicking noise in the gearcase. Wasted 38 bucks.
