Great product to push air from vents.
I bought one of these and it works great. It has balanced the living room with the rest of the house. When I would walk into living room it was always 5 degrees hotter in summer and 5 degrees colder in winter. Now it feels the same. Easy to set up also. Anybody who says its loud on 10 fan speed is not being honest. This is a very low sound. Also a lot cheaper than having your duct work redone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Received a defective one and will not try another
The thermostatic feature stopped working after a day. So I put it on it's medium manual setting and let it run for a few days. The fan really does work, and help to keep the room comfortable. I noted that in that short period, the fan got a little louder and had an annoying intermittent whine. I am returning the item, and I don't think I will try another.

AIRTAP T4 is Good Value, Works Well, and is Easy to Install
Installed in a HVAC register for a downstairs 12' x 16' bedroom that had minimal air flow since it's the furthest room from the HVAC blower which is located in the attic. The booster fan makes a noticeable difference in the bedroom regarding temperature and humidity level. Current daytime temps are upper 80's with high humidity. The variable speed fans are easy to adjust and quiet. Overall, the booster fan works fine and is well made. The only issue is with the built in thermostat and temperature settings. Yes, the temperature settings can be adjusted, but temperature sensor is at the register, not within the room, so the thought is good, but the design is not. There should be a remote temp sensor that can be located some distance from the register. 4 stars for value, the booster fan works well and does make a difference in the room. I'd give it 5 stars if the temperature sensor actually monitored room temperature. TSVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing product!
I have a two story home and the ac unit in my home works great for my first floor but a few of the rooms upstairs barely gets any airflow through the vents. Really does the job!
Does a remarkable job in moving air in an upstairs bedroom. Keeps running after the central AC shuts down so it pulls all that cold air that was wasted in the duct work. Fans are not silent but it took only a few days to get accustomed to this white noise and now we don't notice at all while falling asleep. This was an easy fix to a hot weather problem we have had since moving into our much loved new home. Will be adding a couple more units to correct some other hot spots.

Great product. Well made and nice, easy controls and good instructions. I like the fan speeds and the temperature controls--after we finally followed the directions and understood that the fan temperature setting is NOT the same as the thermostat. We now get it and have adjusted accordingly. We have a high ceiling 2nd floor bedroom that defied all attempts to cool it. It's still a work in progress.
