I am very grateful that you were able to supply this for me. After the recent flooding where I live the stores were sold out of bubblewrap as people were trying to secure their valuables for storage. This bubble wrap is much lighter than the wrap we used while living in China even though it costs a LOT more. Not only is the gauge of the material lighter but the rigidity and strength of the material is inferior with the bubbles popping quite easily, defeating the purpose of having "bubble wrap". Would much rather pay a higher cost for better quality wrap - but alas it seems hard to find in Australia where operational costs are THROUGH THE ROOF for businesses and therefore they are forced to offer inferior products at inflated prices. I am greatly saddened by this reality as it wasn't so when I began living between China and Australia in 2002. Upon permanently moving back in 2018 I realised that we are now a so called "developed country" that consumes some of the lowest quality product imaginable at premium prices...... When you have the most inflated commercial property prices in the world causing the most inflated salaries in the world something has to give in order for businesses to make a profit for owners/shareholders. If you have not already experienced bubble wrap, well you are missing out on a lot. Bubble wrap consists of hundreds of tiny bubbles of air that create a wonderful stress relief product. Each little bubble has its own personality, depending on the angle and pressure you put into it will depend on the little scream that is released. Some snap very loudly expressing immense pain, while some just phuff and are not really that phased by the ordeal. A roll of 100metres can last for several weeks, everyday getting through thousands if not millions of little pops and keeping the pressure levels to a minimum. There is a big surprise at the end of the roll, and that is a nice cardboard roll that makes a great miniature didgeridoo, the office staff love the tunes this rolls out.
