    Excellent print, wonderful movie

    There are many transfers out there of Night of the Living Dead, copied from various prints of the film. Some are in terrible condition. There's also the colorized version--I'd suggest you avoid that. The print from which this version, the "Millennium Edition," was rendered is a crisp, clean copy, generally devoid of the defects and problems one would expect to find in an old film. The contrast is great, the edges sharp, the picture clean and clear. There may be a better version out there now, I don't know, but this one certainly rates 'excellent.'

    If you haven't seen it, now's the time.

    One of the top 20 indie films of all time, and one of the top 10 horror films. Night of the Living Dead was filmed on a thumb tack and paper clip budget in rural Pennsylvania, but incredibly good. Director George Romero's first movie. It's a classic.
