TP-Link AC4000 WiFi router rocks the house

This is my their TP-Link WiFi router. Th=y are great products! The AC4000 is the best yet. Easy to set up. I put most of my streaming devices, smart TVs, and Internet of Things (IoT) on the guest network, where they can't watch me too closely. There are TWO 5 GHz bands, plus the long-range 2.4 GHz band. I now have faster download speeds, and better, stronger signal coverage in my home. Highly recommended!

    functional for a few hours

at the beginning this product seemed to be of quality, it comes in a wide box with its charger and included network cable. after connecting the device and configuring it, (ssid and password) it worked for a few hours and then the WiFi signal stopped transmitting data, As usual in the electronic devices, I proceeded to turn it off from the button that it has in the back, by pressing the button to turn it on again it did not light up anymore. It is unfortunate that such an expensive equipment (almost $ 250) has only lasted a few hours.

  • works good

i would have given it a 5 star , but the instructions where misleading. it made for about 5 days of chatting with support (no help) and e-mails from advanced engineers. no help. the thing was to reset to factory settings everyone kept saying push the reset on the back. no one would point out, and not even the instructions , its not the button on the back . its a pin size hole that you have to use a tooth pick to push the button inside of the unit on the back. i had checked several times for a small hole. it was extremely ease to over look. i finely found it. not a singe person would say the pin size hole. that you will have to use a tooth pick to push.

  • I don't much about technology

After reading a few articles about quality routers and how a newer one could affect the quality of my internet experience, I decided to go for the TP-Link Archer A20. This router on most lists was on the more expensive side, however I decided to go for it and have not been disapponted. The A20 was super to install and now I have fast full signal in every spot of the apt, which is made of reinforced concrete. I am impressed by the improvement. Hooray!

  • Awesome Router

I believe in the phrase "You get what you paid for." You buy a cheap router, you get poor throughput. Needed a new router, because my internet kept dropping while on WiFi, so need one for my family with multiple devices on it at the same time. This perfect for that. I would recommend it!!

  • Tp-link

Router works better than the old ac technology. Not all bands work with all devices. Even devices capable of working on all bands don't always work. Not the most stable router. A speed and range upgrade. Not a stability upgrade over a belkin 1800ac.

  • Notably better than my overpriced Netgear Nighthawk X6 3000 wifi router

Easy to set up software & hardware-wise, rock solid performance (hasn't even blipped in over two months), faster than my previous Netgear Nighthawk X6 300 wifi router that just blew up. TP-Link wifi routers are somewhat unrated for their performance and stability - I'm now a fan!

  • For 80 bucks, this is a screaming deal.

Works like a champ. better range, and the router switches devices between bands to optimize speed. I've had it installed for a couple of weeks and was sad to give up my older DD-WRT hardware, but this thing is brain-dead simple and it rocks.
