  • Brilliant!!!!!

Needed to replace my 4year old Chinese trolling motor as the plastic brackets etc had worn out. ( it had worked very hard)………..WHAT a difference. A higher price but worth every penny. Cast aluminium frame, variable speed motor. Very smooth. Even supplied with a full drawing and parts list.

  • I like it!

Only used twice so far but impressed. Used on my tender to get out to moored boat. Couldn't find what 'sport' button did but it does what you would imagine - at full the motor draws about 50Amps but with 'sport' button this rises to 65 amps and gives more power. My 75AH LiFePO4 battery will deliver this and should last about an hour at full which would be unlikely to be needed. I did not need the sport button to push my dinghy very capably. Silent, so great for setting off if the tide is in the middle of the night. The propeller attaches in a slightly different way from how the manual says with no shear pin. Rinsed salt off after use makes sense and much easier than running a petrol outboard in a fresh water tub after use.

  • Expensive but well worth it.

Very good build quality compared with others. Like the infinatley variable throttle. Plenty of power for small inflatable two up. Make sure you use a suitable amperage battery as full throttle draws around 60 amps. I use an American built 60 amp hour LI battery in a Bison battery box which is also well worth getting. Just wish they made a short shaft version for small inflatable and kayaks as the standard shaft is way too long for my needs but still works well. Also unusual to get such high power motor running of 12 volts anything above 55 pounds thrust usually requires a 24 volt supply. Ron

  • Max power for a 12V. Good quality at reasonable price

Quality is much better than your usual Chinese knockoff motors. I've used it a couple of times in saltwater and as long as you wash it down in fresh water after use it'll not corrode. Probably the max power my Intex excursion 5 can take anyway to enough power to get through any current.
