VISAGE a greatest hits
This is an awesome CD from mostly an early 1980s English band. A pioneering synth pop studio band featuring Steve Strange on vocals and Midge Ure. Visage signature tune was 1981's 'fade to grey' and on this collection you have the other 5 top 40 hits they had and more. Steve Strange appeared in David Bowie's ashes to ashes video in 1980 and was the original 'gender bender' before Boy George, Dead or Alive, Marilyn and Divine. The songs on this CD are timeless and if your looking at finding where synth pop started in the 1980s, VISAGE The Damned don't cry is an awesome starting point. Their influenced inspired so many to also make great music throughout the 1980s.
