Buy an Aklot. 1/3 of the price and much better quality and sound
Buy an Alkot. 1/3 of the price and much better quality and sound. It took our local Luthier 30 minutes to lower the action and make it easier to barre at the first fret. The combined strap pin/output jack is very bulky too large for a strap. My Luthier had to cut my strap to fit over the bulky pin. Not up to Mahalo standards. The sound is mediocre and not worth $250. The supplier was a shocker - would not respond to messages. Don't buy. Get a Chinese brand.

Sweet tone, stays in tune and is well intonated. Electrics could be better - quite tinny tone, but I didn't buy it for that anyway.
