Replaced savox fatbike crank/ring with raceface. Ring works as it should. Installation required a BB tool to tighten the lockring on the cranks, definitely a bit more complicated then traditional ring installations, but not difficult with the right tools. I clamped the tool in a vice and used the crank to cinch it tight, torque recommendation was quite high so i used a fair amount of strength. I find the price of direct mount rings a bit exorbitant but so are most high end bike products. Overall I probably shaved some weight
