Improved Excellence ?
This is a quality time-saving kitchen implement, that will probably last a very long time. I have a little constructive criticism, and some possibly supporting suggestions. My preference is for thick rough looking chips, which cannot be produced by a device with a regularly spaced cutter matrix - or probably any other kind of matrix. Having said this, there might be room to vary the cutter design, to incorporate , for example , a blend of straight and asymmetric cutting blades of different spacing. For example again, the widest spacing could be near the peripheries, where the smallest cutting force is required to cut the spuds on the outside, and where even with the largest existing option cutter, the chip can be quite small. Now, if the peripheral larger sized cutters are straight cut design, the cutters size and shape towards the matrix centre can be smaller on a variable basis, and some can as already suggested, have asymmetric design. The whole object would be to produce variable sized chips, which would at least appeal to this kitchen amateur :-)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wish I hadn't wasted my money on other cheap ones
I have tried other cheap chippers, and this one is the best. Blades are sharp and so strong that vegetables go through easily and quickly. Does state in the instructions (not box) that it is not suitable for hard rooted vegetables, ie carrots etc but I have used it with carrots with no trouble.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
