This is not the first Blue yeti Mic I have bought, I have two of the same mic's They are great for recording, podcast, Vocals, and Instruments. The Blue yeti Sounds crisp and good, It has three settings that you can use Stereo, Cardio, Omnidirectional, and Bidirectional. I mostly use it in stereo for voice overs and podcast it works great. It may be on the expensive side but it works better than that $12-$100 Mic you may have bought before hand. I have bought the Blue yeti before and will continue to buy their product. Be careful because some of the accessories for the yeti may not be cheap but there are some 3rd party stuff you can use that is usually $10-$20 Cheaper

This is an amazingly versatile mic that sounds great, is brilliantly designed and really well built. The regular Yeti may be just as good for most applications, and typically over $100 cheaper. The one thing I'd love is for its awesome base to somehow be able in itself be attachable to a mic stand for the sake of its tilt ability functionality. It's true that you can put the Yeti directly on the top of a stand, but you can't tilt it. But hey, I'm wasting space talking about an issue of comparatively secondary importance to the fact that this is one very amazing mic.
This is probably just my own stupidity, but I thought I'd be able to plug the xlr jack from this into my Canon EOS 5d. Anyway, the xlr plug on this thing is huge and the one on my camera is really small. But for what this thing is supposed to do, act as a mic, it works great. Good sound to it, and it works with my android!

Quality build with excellent performance. Probably the most versatile microphone available with three condenser capsules allowing four recording patterns. Record using a balanced XLR output, or with the built in A D converter, directly into a computer using the USB cable. I've been using it to record dialog and voice over with excellent results. Headphones can be plugged into the microphone to monitor recording with volume control on the mic. There is also a handy mute button on the mic. For the price, it stands with mics which go for considerably more money.
Very nice and versatile microphone. Flexiblity to use different patterns is a very nice feature. Build quality and materials are very good as expected. Mine was a refurbished one and had all accesories in the box.

I needed to record a webinar for my job, so I could save the company from having to fly me to all parts of the US. I never expected the great quality of recording which the Blue Yeti Pro Mic gave my voice recordings. Nor did I know how easy it was to plug and play with this mic. Thank you Blue microphones for creating this gem. I would recommend this very fine mic to anyone on the fence about purchasing it. The voice quality is unmatched, especially by those over the head, plastic gaming and non-pro microphones. Be the star with this mic!
Pros: 1. good quality mic 2. sound recording is very good. 3. style is amazing 4. gain and line in are great. Cons: 1. in terms of Size, it is bigger than standards. 2. it doesn't include any recording software, you have to buy one on your own or use a free one which doesn't allow you to make professional audio clips. 3. doesn't include a dlsr connection. Thanks, I hope I was fair, I love this mic btw.
The Blue Yeti Pro is great. I only rated it 4 instead of 5 stars because it is so hot it picks up ANY noise around it. You almost have to use a shock mount to keep the extra noise down. I made my own. But excellent mic.

It’s a decent quality condenser microphone that is plug and play with a PC. Great if you want something that you don’t need to have directly in front of your mouth. Fits my needs, but isn’t for everyone. A dynamic microphone will have a better sound, but you need to be right on top of it to get a good sound.

Distinguished sound and look. Through XLR connection this microphone sounds rich and as sensitive as you want it to be. I use a Focusrite Clarett 2Pre interface for its XLR connection, using it for interview (video) podcasts through ZOOM. I love it.
