Used this type years ago in the bike trade and recently purchased this model to assist bleeding the cars I work on. These only need to induce a suction to draw out the old fluid and not let any air in the system which this does very well. Didn't spill one drop and the entire bleed process was completed on a 4x4 in less than 15 minutes! Learn to use this tool efficiently and you will love it.

I didn't read the description properly and didn't have an air compressor, so after a bit of head scratching, worked out that it works just as well with a vacuum cleaner. Just reverse the fittings so the air moves through the handle and creates low pressure in the flask. Works well.

Pros: + Good suction + Reasonably solid + Easy to use Cons - Will spray fluid out before it's even half full (Needs to be emptied 2-3 times during a brake fluid change) - No fittings for the feed bottle to fit large resovoirs (admittedly I haven't even used it yet)

The Vacuum part works pretty well. The filler bottle doesn't really work though, it's too top heavy and it's too tall so doesn't fit many cars as it hits the bonnet. I only bought it for the vacuum bleeder, so doesn't bother me.

For the price and how it was so easy to bleed the new master cylinder and new slave cylinder in one operation made it worth ever cent. If I never use it again that fine but each time l see it in the cupboard l will remember how great it was. Everyone that works on cars should have one. It is a one person operation, you do not need someone pumping up the pedal.
