  • Easy setup and use. Great coverage of my home.

Has allowed me to have a strong wireless signal throughout the home and backyard. Satellites have allowed great wireless presence and connectivity for wired connections and provide a strong network presence for my desktops. I would definitely recommend this system. 3 Orbi system, 2500 square feet, great coverage for all wired/wireless network devices. (27 currently in my home)

  • Essential for managing smarthome devices

Very easy to set up and essential if you have more than one smart TV. The satellite routers are attractive and blend into the background. My NETgear genie automatically picked up the router even though you make most adjustments from the Orbi app on your smartphone. The problem is resetting the rest of your smart home devices to work with the new router. TVs were okay but security cameras, doorbells and even Alexa require communication with their home networks to reconnect to your personal wifi. I had to take my doorbell apart to press the reset button and climb an 8-ft ladder to reset my floodlight cam. The only way I was going to reset my Echo plus was by plugging it into an outlet nearest the router itself. Get the router but prepare to spend some time getting your smarthome devices to work with it, even if the router login and password are the same.

  • The Mesh Has Me Covered

Product came earlier than was predicted. The box was a bit beat up as if it had been sitting somewhere for a while but the interior and its contents were pristine. The system is a snap to set up using the Orbi app. I was up and running after plugging in all three nodes around my house in about 10 minutes. The app is easy to use and quite functional. One is able to see who is on the network and any user can individually be shut off with the app. The app also shows network speed. While I would not have bought the security piece they include it free for a year and so far I like that function too. It alerts you when security (spam) issues are blocked. I have a fairly large home (6000 sq ft) and my old Apple Time Machine router and an add on extender were not cutting it. I now have 5 bars wifi reception everywhere in the house. I chose this unit over the Orbi WiFi 6 option because of the huge cost difference and the fact that one need 1G service (I have 400 MB) to benefit from WiFi 6. WiFi 6 is also useful if there will be lots of users. We never have more than 6. The Orbi RBK53S also has the fastest back haul of any non-WiFi 6 unit meaning that the band the system dedicates to the communication and speed of each node is incredibly fast. All tri-band systems have a dedicated band solely for communication among the nodes. Dual Band systems have no such dedicated band and therefore the communication between nodes eats into the bandwith the system uses to provide wifi (meaning internet speed drops as a result of sharing bandwith with the back haul). I did not buy the Eero WiFi 5 system for this reason (it is dual band). The Eero WiFi 6 is tri-band but costs $1000 for three nodes (like the Orbi WiFi6). So for $550 less than the WiFi 6 systems, this Orbi was the overall best and more than meets my needs.

  • Finally have wifi in detached shop

This was a great upgrade from my decade old modem. With just the router I have the max provider internet speed of 300 mb/sec everywhere in my 2700 square foot house. I put one satellite unit in my detached shop (with metal doors facing the house). I then had reliable but slow (10 mb/sec) wifi. When I placed another satellite in the room in the house closest to the detached shop the speed in the shop went to the provider max of 300 mb/sec. Because the ORBI unit will automatically work in a dasy chain configuration the unit in the shop does not have to connect directly to the router. The dedicated wifi backhaul channel ensures high dasiy chain speed.

  • WiFi system is easy to setup and signal is stable with INCREDIBLE range!

The NETGEAR Orbi AC3000 RBK53-100NAR Tri-band WiFi System router and satellites are easy to setup. Easily manage services, connect devices, monitor status, etc. WiFi signal is very stable and range is incredible! Kids in their tree house have no issues streaming or playing internet based games. Really happy with this WiFi system.

  • WiFi solves!

I finally pulled the trigger after years of spotty WiFi & couldn’t be happier with the RBK53 Orbi Mesh 3 pack. My 150mbps service now runs at 235 + (not sure why) & the slowest spot in the house is 160. Love the app as well where you can manage devices, check speed & a lot more. Great system......no need to put up with your “just ok” WiFi any longer.

  • Absolutely The Best

With the setup I installed, I don't have any dead spots in my home, plus I get a great signal at 200 feet from home into the back lot. I have not checked any futher than that, but is working beyond what I expected.

  • Excellent

Use to lease an Xfinity router/modem. Had to trade it in several times for inconsistent service. Got fed up. This router provided faster speeds, greater ranges of service, and a consistent connection to my devices.
