Uniquely sparkly
The crystals really sparkle especially in the perpetually turning carosel-like pendulum. The level of sound is easily adjustable and the automatic off works great as soon as the light dims in the evening. My dog finds the clock fascinating. I wish there was some chime to count the hour, as well as a brief chime on the half hour because there is no way to distinguish the time without looking at the clock. On each hour the clock plays the same little intro tune and then also an ending tune while the face rotates back into position. I think they just should have lengthened the actual song tune to play while the clock face resets. The clock is pretty hefty but sits on the wall well without tilting or shifting despite all the movement each hour. Overall, I feel a little let down with the music. I guess I got carried away with anticipation (I have wanted one of these for years but the high prices were prohibitive).
