Excellent Purchase
I wanted a larger external hard drive to put all my files in one place. I have two already but having an extra one just in case is always the safest route to take. This one is compact, easy to use and very quiet. I like how I can access my files from other programs than just my hard drive on my computer.

Great deal for inexpensive high capacity 2.5" HDD storage drive. Only complaint is really slow read/write speeds (~30mb/s) but that's the trade off with the older tech.

It's nice having a dependable device to put one's important info on rather than tying up one's computer hard drive! Always in storage devices buy brand name, don't go for cheaper because it won't work out and WD drives are very dependable!

Great little portable hard drive

nice product & price
its currently 2 weeks since i got hard drive in mail. moved all my saved game data and digital games from my ps4 on to it and so its hooked up to that. it dont need its own power supply. and last drive i had to turn it off and on with each use. so this having no power switch and turns on and off when ps4 is on/off is nice and so far its been quite and nice and running well. im very happy i got it

Very Good Backup Drive
This 5 TB external hard drive works perfectly. I have windows 10 professional, and I used the Bitlocker function to encrypt this drive, and it worked flawlessly. It gets a bit warm with prolonged use, but nothing worrisome. I am happy with this as my backup drive. As far as speed, it handles playing videos on my low end laptop very well, with no lag. I have no benchmark against which to say whether it records data faster or slower than normal.
