I’ve used over six of these LED floods to cover deck and garden areas. They have a wide dispersion of 120 degrees and the IP65 rating makes them safe against water ingress IE,rain.Mine are mostly mounted under the verandah eaves, where ordinary 240v plugs & sockets suffice. The colour output at 10w is surprisingly bright and colour changing permits various garden features to be lit to best advantage. These are solidly made units that will perform well, whether used in outdoor floodlighting, or even as indoor multi-colour accents. I hve bought 4 of these and installed close by to an older model that is very similar, even works off the same remote controller. But it is annoying that the default when you switch it on is red, then fading through the colors. The default when turning on (at the light switch) should be to pure white, then if you want to change colors you could use the remote. Otherwise good value.

This is a great light, many functions and lots of colours. The only downside is the default is to rotate through the colours beginning with red. The default should be white and the effects should be switched on manually. This makes it less practicable to use as something like a pouch light as every time u switch it on u have to go outside with the remote and change it. Other than that it's well made and a pretty cool piece of kit for a low price.

Pros- good value Cons- Power consumed for each colour averages about 3.5 watts. This equates to about 315 lumens. The result is the lights are not that bright but doubling the lights can solve this.
