Similar to "Amouage" Opus VI
What a brilliant fragrance. I stumbled on this after reading reviews on Fragrantica and then blind bought it. Glad that I did. It smells similar to Opus VI (6) by Amouage, which is one of my favorite fragrances. This is a great quality fragrance for a very low price. The fact that I bought it worked... but I was told I smelled like the inside of the "Cheers" bar from the TV show if it had a fragrance and I don't think that was complimentary. It's such a strong and long-lasting fragrance...
To my nose, as raw as I can explain it, it smells like a mix of baby powder with new leather jacket and smooth oud. I picture a friendly, reassuring doctor wearing this, making everyone feel safe with his presence. It's a very strong but soft fragrance. It's not in your face like powerhouse fragrances, which I like to use by myself as to not remind people of their dads or granddads. One spray is almost too much for me. It's uncommonly strong. It's also an uncommon-smelling fragrance, so I suggest careful application. Overdone, it's suffocating and nose-filling. But judiciously applied, it's a fine fragrance. Very smooth from the middle on down. The top is a bit strong to the nose but not in a negatively. If you enjoy the smell of or wearing oud then you'll enjoy this fragrance; Also, if you you have smelled Bond 9 New York Oud, this is almost similar to it in my opinion but this is a bit sweeter than B9NYO.
