I've only had this for a week. I have a sony 4k ultra hd Blu-ray player, UBP-X700, and I have a AV receiver with 4k passthrough. The HDCP was not compatible so I would the smart tv would receive low resolution. So after I connected the Pro2 between the 4 k bluray player and AV receiver the tv would receive the full resolution. So am happy.

I bought this box as the new Foxtel IQ uses HDCP2.2 security encoding on their 4 k compatible box. This means that when I tried to route my hdmi through my Yamaha amp to my non 4K non HDCP2.2 Tv the computer said no. The box arrived and the problem is no more!!! Don’t tell Foxtel as they still haven’t figured it out in Victoria at least.
