Chemex 8 cup coffee maker
I don't think enough people are aware of these simple hands-on coffee makers. Does it take a little longer to brew ? Yes. Does it clean up easily and make significantly better coffee. YES ! The simple nature of the thing and easy clean-up more than make up for a slightly longer brew time. And I never would have believed it.... but it makes your coffee sweeter and smoother and amplifies the flavor. A better cup of coffee that NO automatic drip machine can come close to. I enjoy the flexibility of it. I can adjust anything in the brewing process. Time, temperature, soak, strength,etc.. If you consider yourself a coffee lover, there are just a few things you can do to have better coffee at home. Changing to a more expensive automatic drip machine is not one of them. Buying and roasting your own beans is one of them. Grinding your own beans just before they go into the coffeemaker is one of them, but you have to use a good quality burr grinder. You also need a good home roaster which I think is the Gene Cafe CBR-101. We're talking $1000 in coffee equipment and we haven't even mentioned espresso machines. However for $50 you can buy one of these and make coffee that is honestly better than what you've been drinking.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great investment for a GREAT coffee Brew ;-)
We have always wanted to try out the Chemex brand. I am glad I did our coffee's in the morning are rich smooth and flavorful. If you were hesitant to buy one don't hesitate anymore you won't regret your decision. The Keurig we used before is being shelved for a while :-)
