Fantastic Spray gun, Excellent finishes for under $300.
This Anest Iwata AZ3 HTE 2 ... 1.3mm Spray Gun . For under $300 this gun will do what more expensive ( over $500) Spray guns will do. For 2 pack base and clears and water base paints it produces a mirror finish. Finish straight from this Gun is amazing. It lays paints and Clears like glass. Great low pressure (30psi), low air consumption (under 8 cfm) and Fan adjustments with little over spray. This gun does not leave you with sore hands and arms after using it for long periods of use. All knobs are easy to adjust, excellent 600 ml pot no leaks. Easy to maintain and Very easy to Clean. So for under $300 dollars you get a gun that will produce great Work....

AZ3 1.8 for 2k primer
Excellent quality spray gun, supported by Anest Iwata. Lays on very nice coat with good spray pattern and atomisation. Initial thoughts were it may be a little difficult to keep clean with manual cleaning due to design of the fluid passage being quite small, typical iwata trick of unscrewing aircap to clean fluid passage doesn't work without finger over end (~ 1 bar to recirculate air through fluid passage to clean with thinners), but so far seems very well made, pot is made of hard plastic and will expect to need to replace in the future. Gun is solid and feels good in the hand and lays out primer very well, especially around 10% reducer to minimise rubbing/peel. Never underestimate the uses of a good primer gun, especially from the typical recycled spray guns, star or work quip guns. Gun sprays very well from 1 to 1.5 bar, and look forward to seeing how it goes over time, haven't seen any need to go higher or lower pressure, minimal overspray around 1 bar makes it suitable for use in the workshop, and bumping up to 1.5 in the booth does lay on material a little quicker with small increase in overspray. Would highly recommend over any of the cheaper primer guns

IWATA AZ3 Nice gun all around
PROS: Well made, nice finish and feel with good balance in use, reasonable value for a spray gun of this quality it produces a very even finish and great variance of spray pattern, very versatile. CONS: None really, but would be nice with an aluminium pot supplied in preference to the plastic one included.
