    Miller LPR-100 Respirator

This is an excellent respirator. I have asthma and cannot weld without a good quality respirator. It fits under the hood well and better yet, it is the ONLY respirator I've tried that doesn't fog my glasses when I exhale. It fits my face well --I guessed at a medium size when I ordered and it turned out to be a perfect fit. I wear a size 7 hat, if that helps others judge what size they might need. As for the effectiveness of the respirator, I have way less colorful tissues when I blow my nose at the end of the day in the shop. To me that is a good indicator of what's NOT getting past and into my nose and lungs. The filters pop in and out easily for cleaning and replacement. I clean them daily with compressed air to increase the time between changes (just be careful to keep the pressure down so as not to tear out the filter). The only con I can report about the mask is the price of replacement filters. Two new filters cost slightly more than half what I paid for the respirator itself. But then, some things are worth it.

    Ok. Small fit. Big protrusion

I bought it mainly to filter out burnt paint while welding. It doesn't do that but on clean steel you can't smell any fumes. I bought a m/l and i think it's a little small. I'm 6'2" 200lbs. I have 3 different brand welding helmets (forney kobalt save phace) and none of them close completely because the filter sticks out so far. I do like the filter. It has to be better than nothing.

  • Good mask

This mask is good for anything hoods, plus it’s small. So it’s convenient than those bulky ones. The only thing is that you must clean it if you’re using it a lot. I had another one from two years back, and left it in my box for some months. I bought another one, just to have another one extra. But ended up using mostly the new one, and once I went back to the old one. It was kinda of nasty inside, I think since it was humid in the shop sometimes, it must’ve built up haha. But overall, I love this mask.

  • Really nice

Used it today to do some grinding using flapper disks yesterday I used painters masks that our company supply's lol when you could taste the dust and smell the disks. Today I used this mask for the first time and let me tell ya so much nicer not tasting and smelling that dust and smelling the guy next to me welding galvanized steel all morning it took out the bad stuff and brought me a great piece of mind knowing things are some what better now so just hope it lasts a while and that it keeps comfortable. I think if your a welder and your breathing in things you should not be breathing ask your company to buy your PPE like they should but I had to buy my own for my safety and I hope you all end up with one to wear and at least help your lungs and your life. Great product thanks so much to MILLER WELDING as they think of all the best things for us welders and the welding industry please keep up the great work and look forward to so much more....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  • ER NURSE IN COVID HOT SPOT

The M95 masks that my facility provided were uncomfortable and did not fit correctly. I bought this with my own money so as to hopefully avoid the rona. It is so much easier to breath in. Nice cool air in and no glasses fogging up with the exhale. Be careful with size if you do wear glasses. The M/L size pushed my glasses up and displaced my blended bifocal. Tough to start an IV when you can't see. Easy on/off but you should wear a head cap otherwise the straps slip off. You will sweat inside the mask and sometimes you will it blows out the front valve. Before covid19 you could buy these for 24.00, I paid over 100.00 for this. So is it worth the price, time will tell

  • Very good, but accumulates moisture on the inside from your breathing

The GVS Elipse masks are very good in almost every way. They block out a much higher percentage of particulates, including microorganisms, than N95 masks. They are inexpensive if you order them from a U.S.-based distributor, such as AceTool or AFC International. They are fairly comfortable, except for one drawback that, for all I know, might be the case with all respiratory masks: they accumulate moisture on the inside from your breathing, so you will want to take them off frequently and wipe them or air dry them. This is an especially troublesome problem with the Elipse Integra masks, where the moisture fogs up the upper, eye shield portion of the mask, as well as the bottom portion covering the mouth and nose.

  • Breath and See.

I currently don't have dust collection and using this mask allows me to breath clean air. I know this because when I remove the mask I can smell the wood where I can't when I have the mask on. It also doesn't negatively affect my vision. The low profile design really shines. The mask fits tightly, is fully adjustable and is comfortable to wear.

  • Perfect size

Was looking for a low profile respirator for using when spray painting, welding, grinding, & whatever. I just got the mask so not sure how well it will hold up but it seems to be very well made & fits perfect! Its also very low profile & exactly what i was looking for way better than the big bulky one i had before especially since it will fit under my welding helmet

  • Lightweight and good fit!

Great transactions and a great product. I'm not a welder or construction guy. I'm a respiratory therapist and I know that it's very important to protect your lungs. I have a small shop that I use for blacksmith work where I'm exposed to dust, welding fumes. This mask is just what I needed! Good product!!

  • Good respirator need a specific helmet tho

Great respirator hands down if your welding you need one! Only problem I had was I had to get another helmet because the one I had which was a miller didn’t allow me to see to well because the respirator would hit on my knobs to adjust darkness/sensitivity etc... and wouldn’t allow me to see but now I got a miller elite helmet and I adjusted the headwear to the farthest position back and boom fits perfectly inside! Highly recommend it but check what helmet you got!
