UNifi was easy to setup just do a hard wire connect and make what ever changes you need . Then put it were its most useful. Has at leasr a 100m signal. which I verified for a wifi camera. Excellent

Worked only 15 months. Recommended EAP245 instead.
Worked well, speed is good as well as signal reach, but failed after 15 months with a warranty of only 12 months. Switched ot TPLink EAP245 which is not only cheaper, has better speed and reach and a 5 yr warranty so should last a lot longer. Buy that one instead.

Unifi rocks
From a single AP my network has grown to 4, including 2x UAP AC LR units and a CloudKey controller. Perfect for supporting home schooling, home office and streaming services. Smart software makes setup and tweaking really easy. Add a floorplan and you can even see where to locate your APs for optimal coverage. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Simple to set up and awesome quality.
Works as it should. I was a little concerned with other reviews saying the unifi software was so advanced you would need a degree from NASA to set it up, but this is not the case. Simply plug it into your network, install the software on a networked machine and presto, it updates the firmware, assigns itself an I.P. address and asks you what you want your SSID to be named. That's it. Two more to go.

Easy Phone App Setup
Setup using phone app quick and easy, if limited, but when using the Controller software, you may need to 'forget' the access point in the app so that the AP is discoverable in the controller software. You will then need to setup the AP again.

Worth the money
The Ubiquiti UniFi AC AP Long Range Dual Band Access Point was ideal for a two story home. My wife needed to work from home and the router was connected downstairs but her work desk was upstairs in a confined room. Reception wasn't the best until I had the Ubiquiti installed on the ceiling in her room. She now has faster internet access to her work.
