I got this heater for my desk at work..it started out great, get's very hot, warms up the space well..Then one random day it cut off and never cut bac on. I'm so disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. I wouldn't recommend. I bought this for my workshop, a well insulated garage (22' Long x 21' Wide x 8' Ceiling) in Southern Virginia. I've only had the heater for a few weeks but it does a great job! I turn the thermostat up halfway on the 1500 Watt power setting and then have a cup of coffee. By the time I'm finished, I can go to work. Once the shop is fully warmed up, I dial the thermostat back to where it just clicks off and switch to the 1200 Watt power setting.
