It’s reliable and approach the claimed r/w speeds. But could have bought a 1tb Samsung 980 for additional 25$ which provides 3000MB/s data rate for both sequential reads and writes, where as this one provides only 900MB/s for writes.
I'm using Crucial M.2 SSDs in a couple of applications - 2TB expansion for my M1 Mac mini, and this 1TB unit in a newly-acquired Acacis USB-C hub. They work well and I have no complaint about transfer rates for the applications I run.
