  • Listen to this over Miles Davis recording and over

What can I say? This is one of the most popular and famous jazz recording of all time and for good reasons. The musicians are all superb and the recording itself is excellent. The main thing for me is the listening pleasure. I play this one regularly and frequently. Many important and great recordings are good to have in your collection but like books on a shelf you may not pick them up frequently, they are just good to have. "Kind of Blue" is different. You will enjoy it over and over. If you enjoy jazz and don't have "Kind of Blue" in your collection get it now. It will stay on top of the stack.

  • Best jazz recording ever.

I've been a total jazz lover for the last 40 years. I needed to reconnect with Miles, Trane, and Julian. All gone way too soon: Miles in 1991, Trane in 1967, Cannonball in 1975. This recording justifiably is one of the best, if not THE best in jazz history. Focus by Stan Getz would be a close second. I had Kind of Blue twice before but wore out the cds from playing them too much. It's just nice to hear 3 of the greatest jazz musicians making oh so sweet music.

  • Miles Davis Kind of Blue CD is Wonderful!!!

I really love Miles Davis. I love to play his music. I actually bought this one to play at work. I think that it's relaxing and it's possible that it will help others feel more relaxed when they come to our building. It's not stressful music, it's relaxing, warm, and filled with the energy of Miles Davis. It's also a great conversation piece because many of the younger adults haven't heard of him. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how they react to these sounds.

  • music

The CD came in good shape, plays, etc.. The music is good, really good, only I still can not tell why it is the most sold Jazz album ever. Not to take away from the music.

  • Cool jazz that can be played time and again...

Several vituoso's perform improvisational solos with a catchy melody to start/end songs.

  • One of the Best Jazz CD's you can still find.

If you are new to Jazz or just beginning your experience, it doesn't get much better than this album. It is rare to find more than two songs on an album that you just go crazy over. Every song on this album is just wonderful. Buy it while you can still find it.

  • "The Second Best Horn Player"

This is my first Miles CD cause I got a late start but it's beautiful. I like it quite a bit. "Kind of Blue" has a really great laid back feel although I think Chet Baker is better because of his vocals and horn playing as well. This is a very good value and probably the best Miles album to buy if you only have one Classic!. By samurai tim o9
