After the sudden death of his wife, successful Manhattan surgeon Andrew Brown (Treat Williams) uproots his family and medical practice to Everwood, Colorado, a small mountain town with sentimental connections to his dead wife. Family values versus Christian values
This series is well written and well done! It is very entertaining with great casting. When it comes to Christian values, it lags behind pretty much. While it mentions God and Jesus briefly, it gives Him no honor or very little. Get the impression was written by someone who does not really know God at all. While it does not exactly accept abortion, it does condone it at bottom line. The views on homosexuality are definitely pagan views. It paints vile Planned Parenthood as something good. These issues take up only a few episodes, however. Other than that, it is an excellent series. would give this series 5 stars if I were not a Christian. Teenage Angst Dream Show
I bought this because Chris Pratt is in it, and I wanted my nieces to experience the joy of Everwood, a show I loved in college. I watched the first episode with them and remembered just how emotional and angsty Ephraim is! It's hilarious! I can't wait to rewatch the whole season!
