Chris Connor at her best?
I'm not a huge Chris Connor fan, but on the album she really swings with Maynard Ferguson's big band. There's one song that's one of the best I've heard from anyone -- "Something's Coming" from Bernstein's West Side Story. It's very difficult material with three or four changes in tempo, but Chris makes it look easy as MF wails his trumpet.
