I appreciate the way Susan's early videos show adaptations for every fitness level. Some days I'm at the higher levels, and some days I take it down to the lower, depending on how I feel. I even modify in the middle when I get tired - she shows how. Emphasis is placed on correct, focused movement, rather than "aerobic junk". This video is particularly my favorite of all of her videos, as it is interval training. 5 minutes aerobic, 2-3 minutes toning. I don't work up as much of a sweat, and it feels easier than a video that does 35-45 minutes cardio, then weights, situps, etc. If I've been a while without exercising, I reach for one of Susan Powter's videos, and this is one of my favorites. The only negative comment I have about Susan's videos is that the editing isn't always great - sometimes they've spliced in a different section, and the movements have changed slightly without cue. Once you've done them a few times, it's easy to pick it up where you should, and to know where these minor "oopses" are and keep the rhythm of the workout while adapting. This is the best exercise video out there. I bought this in 97 after the birth of my 1st child. I had gained a lot of weight and couldn't get through any of the many videos I had. Hence, I dreaded working out. Once I got this video I was "stepping through mud" everyday. I lost over 60lbs in 5 mos without dieting. Anytime I've gotten off track and put some weight on I go right back to this video and it snaps me back in shape. Now, after just having my 3rd child, I can't wait to "get back on the box"! I have a very weak back and this routine is extremely simple and very effective. If your overweight or just wanting to tone I highly, highly recommend this one!
This is a great video to exercise with. I even got my husband to use it which is great he is picky when it comes to these things. You get your cardio an the use of your weight in one video. Susan shows you how to modify if you are not up to a high level of exercise which is great. Alot of them don't she goes though the whole video showing you how to do the moves correctly how the high fitness level should go and how to modify for the lower fitness levels. Great video recomend highly.
Great workout for multiple levels of ability ... I have worn out several tapes of it. I just wish it was available on CD!

It is a shame that this tape is no longer mass produced and made available in the stores! Susan has a way of communicating with people needing exercise that makes you want to keep working on your weightloss goals. I respect her because she was once very obese. I have used this tape for years and only recently purchased this one because my old one wore out.
I used to have this video but lost it and finally found one. I was pleased that this one arrived early and plays well. Thanks!! I will be holding on to this one.
