Product Information

Director Lawrence Kasdan's GRAND CANYON is an introspective tale of the unlikely friendship of two men from different worlds brought together when one (Kevin Kline) finds himself in jeopardy in the other's (Danny Glover) rough neighborhood. Other characters from disparate Los Angeles origins (including Steve Martin, Alfre Woodard, and Mary-Louise Parker) also cross paths in this soul-searching lament of modern social conflicts.

  • A very feel good movie but kinda lame too.

I think this is the kind of movie that hits a home run with ya or doesn't. One may like the next guy not so much. In the end it was ok but don't expect to re-watch anytime soon. It is not a compelling watch. Maybe for some a bit preachy in a round about way. What I do wish is they had brought in the actual GRAND CANYON somehow a lot more than a kind of vista at the end only. Could have been a back drop really.
