The Wachowskis' ultra-modern update of classic film noir stars Jennifer Tilly as Violet, the voluptuously alluring and well-pampered mistress of mob man Ceasar (Joe Pantoliano). Violet is the kind of woman who can catch any man's eye, but she's more interested in the tough, sexy, new handywoman next door named Corky (Gina Gershon). The two quickly become lovers, and conspire to steal two million of the Mafia's money.     BOUND - If you haven't yet seen it, SEE IT~!

    Well thought out, and well written script. Gina Gershon, and Jennifer Tilly are perfect for the roles they play. I would suggest you see the wikipedia and IMDb articles about this film as well, for an even Better appreciation. The Wachowskis' are quite the pair, who also made the Matrix Trilogy, and Cloud Atlas, which is truly a work of Art. Pantoliano is perfect for his part as well, and while the Mafia may not function quite the way it is portrayed, Joe makes it believable, What really impresses me, is the way Gina plays the handyman, er, girl. She is more than credible with the way she handles tools, and I bet she could fix a sink in real life as well. This film is a Real Nugget, and,, yeah, the sex scene is Real. No body doubles. :-)

    Great Mafia Movie!

    Violet is the girlfriend of a gangster and Corky is an ex-con doing renovations on the apartment nextdoor. They begin a passionate affair and Violet realize they could steal a fortune from the mob and Corky irons out the details of the heist. Really great characters, including Christopher Meloni of Law and Order: SVU fame, Jennifer Tilly, and Gina Gershon. Made by the Wachowskis to prove themselves to get the funding for The Matrix and they did. This is definitely an underrated classic.
