The way all music should be.
I was always disappointed with the CD version of The Stranger. It was tinny and weak sounding. Well no issues with the 5.1 SACD. It's amazing clear and it is far from weak. The bass is powerful. To the extent I actually had to dial it down some. The surround mix is a good addition without distraction. Since this music wasn't meant to be 5.1 it could easily be overdone. Not so here. If you can get a copy at a reasonable price I recommend it for any Billy Joel fan.
