    IF you want a better - uncut story buy the Paperback edition!

    Publisher edited/abridged/cut the stories in these "Three Complete Novels" from the Paperback editions. Still good stories (like all of W.E.B. Griffins books - and I have read all of them - except the Police seriers) IF that is all you read. BUT if you have read the PB editions you will find these a disappointment. PB edition for "Battleground" 496 Pages in this "Complete Novel" 299;. PB edition for "Line of Fire" - 480 pages - in this HC book 295; PB edition for "Close Combat" - 416 - in tjhis HC book 255: Many good parts left out and the stories in the PB are much better.
