I really enjoyed this movie. The Last Unicorn is entertaining for both the older or the younger. It's not just a kids movie.

The disc was bought for a young member of the family who seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. We would certainly research for more films on the site in the future.

A great animation with really superb voice overs. Mia Farrow is haunting as the Unicorn. The music is really good too. The colour has been digitally remastered and this makes this version a bit more 'cartoony', but it resorts back to the muted ariginal colours towards the end. If you are a fan of fantasy or animation you have to have this in your collection....
kids loved it . for some reason they were fixated on the screen. storyline runs very quickely with wierd deviations for some reason.. within the fist three minutes it is established that SHE IS THE LAST UNICORN AND SHE MUST GO FIND THEM. very good childrens film bright flowing colours and its got a unicorn in it - so that is always a good thing. lots of famous names for the voices recommend it for children
A story I've always loved and a tale that enchanted me as a child, I was determined to show a little girl I know the magic that is The Last Unicorn. Although re-watching it nearly two decades after I first saw it, this fantasy film encapsulates juvenile ideas of mystical beasts perfectly; provoking the powers of imagination. A story involving typical fairy tale characters such as an evil witch, a friendly but clumsy apprentice wizard and a talking tree takes you through an emotive journey of a unicorn's realisation that she is the last left and also questing to find what happened to her family. I loved this as a child and I can honestly say that I still love it now!
