Still the best
Still a brilliant way of playing music. I use with a marantz amplifier and optical cable. Music is synced across the house with a series of squeezeboxes. Total cost of all is less than one Sonos speaker or device. It does what it does exceptionally well. Cons are no bluetooth, no alexa etc, need to pay for Spotify access, but these are better achieved anyway via a different device like smart TV (which seems to be able to use the lms server surprisingly) or echo. Using raspberry pi as alternative is likely something I don't have time to set up at the moment. I have not 7sed Chromecast, which like logitech abandoned their audio streamer. I would be v interested to know how easy it is to set up multiroom audio streaming from a hdd nas or pc with chromecast or similar at lowish cost, but my guess is it would not match the functionality of squeezeboxVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great for music and net radio
I had a Pioneer 30k before this for a network player,unfortunately it broke down and I could not get a replacement. Already I had a Squeezebox radio,and it was the only thing that showed album art when listening to net radio.The Touch does this.and an awful lot more when listening to music. I only use it for radio and Deezer,for this it is a superb little machine. Add the squeezer app to your tablet and you have an extra controller for your touch. This is the best item for net radio and Deezer I have purchased. Was going to buy a Cambridge v2 network player, but it was a bit too expensive for me.
